🔵 Do I Need a Referral to Start Physical Therapy?
No referral is required to begin physical therapy in the state of California. California allows patients to initiate physical therapy for up to 45 days or 12 visits (whichever comes first) before requiring a physician’s review and signature on the treatment plan.
🔵 Can I Use My FSA or HSA for Treatment?
Yes, definitely! Both Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) can be used to pay for your sessions at TCK Physical Therapy & Wellness.
🔵 Why Are You Out-of-Network With Insurance?
Working outside the insurance system allows us to provide high-level, individualized care without limitations. Insurance companies often place time, visit, or treatment restrictions that can interfere with recovery. At TCK, we make decisions based on what’s best for you — not what’s approved by a third party.
🔵 Can I Still Get Reimbursed by My Insurance?
Yes, if you have a PPO or a plan that allows out-of-network coverage, you may be eligible to submit a claim for reimbursement. Most patients who are not on Medicare can file a self-claim with their insurance provider. We’ll provide a detailed receipt (superbill) with everything you need.

We often have same-week availability! If other clinics have long waitlists or limited hours, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’ll get you scheduled promptly.
🔵 Do You Accept Medicare?
Training Complete Kinematics Physical Therapy & Wellness is not enrolled as a participating Medicare provider. Due to federal regulations, we are not legally permitted to provide medically necessary physical therapy services to Medicare beneficiaries on a cash-pay or out-of-network basis.
However, we can work with Medicare clients for non-medical wellness services such as personal training, injury prevention, and movement optimization. If you’re looking to use your Medicare benefits for physical therapy, we’d be happy to refer you to a trusted Medicare-enrolled provider in your area.
